The Snapact Privacy Policy

Snapact and the Snapact Community Network (the "SCN") are being provided and operated by Tecagora Solutions Inc. ("Tecagora"). The SCN offers digital photo services that provide the ability to view and share digital photographs, graphics, messages, or other materials ("Content") through electronic devices such as personal computers and hand-held devices. This document will explain what information may be collected and how it may be used when you visit our websites, use Snapact and/or the SCN.

  1. WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED AND HOW IS IT USED? - Tecagora provides you with certain services through the SCN provided that you are of legal age to form a binding contract in your applicable jurisdiction. In order to receive or access certain products or services available through the SCN, you may be required to provide current, accurate, contact, and other personal information as part of the registration process and/or your continued use of the services. Tecagora may also receive personally identifiable information from its business partners. When you register with Tecagora, we may ask for and collect the following information:

    1. Name
    2. Email
    3. Address
    4. Birth Date
    5. Gender
    6. Occupation, Industry or Personal Interests

    Tecagora may from time to time use cookies. A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, that is sent to your browser from a web site's computers. Cookies may also be stored on an Internet user's computer for the purposes of tracking the Internet user's clicks to ensure that they are directed to the correct click-through destination site, or to track the performance of its business partners and to ensure proper payment for their sales activities related to their business relationship with Tecagora. Tecagora's usage of cookies does not collect any personal information in any way. If you do not want Tecagora to deploy cookies in your browser, you can set your browser to reject cookies or notify you when a Web site tries to put a cookie in your browser software, however, rejecting cookies may affect your ability to use of some of the products and/or services available on the SCN.

    Tecagora may also track domain names, IP addresses, and browser types from Internet users who visit our Web sites. We use this information to produce traffic statistics for the Tecagora Web sites, and to identify how we can improve our products, services, and Web sites for our customers. Such information does not contain any personal information.

    The information collected may be used by Tecagora for the following purposes:

    1. to customize the advertising and content you see on our pages
    2. to fulfill your requests for certain products and services
    3. improve our services
    4. conduct research
    5. to contact you about specials and new products, or for service announcements or administrative messages relating to the SCN service

  2. INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE - By using the services of the SCN, you acknowledge and agree that Tecagora may access, and disclose any information collected if required to do so by law or in a good faith belief that such acces or disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request; (b) enforce this terms and conditions of this Agreement, your use of Snapact and/or the SCN, including investigation of potential violations hereof; (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues (including, without limitation, the filtering of spam); or (d) protect against imminent harm to the rights, property or safety of Tecagora, its users, or the public as required or permitted by law.

  3. CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY - Tecagora limits access to personally identifiable information to employees who may require such information to provide certain services to you. We will never sell, rent, lease or trade your personal information to any third party. Likewise, your information will not be shared with a third party in any other way unless Tecagora is required to do so by law. Tecagora may engage the services of a third party from time to time and may provide certain information that includes personal information in order for the third party to perform such services. Any third parties who provide services to Tecagora have agreed not to disclose your information or use it for any other purpose, and are required to implement or adopt a Privacy Policy that is no less stringent than Tecagora's Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Tecagora does not own or control or to people that Tecagora does not employ or manage including without limitation, any Tecagora affiliates or business partners.

  4. THIRD PARTY LINKS - Tecagora may from time to time include links from our website that may direct you to other third party websites which we believe may be of interest to you. Please take note that if you are directed to any third party websites, those websites are not governed by this Privacy Policy and it is your responsibility to review and understand the privacy policy of any websites that you visit.

  5. NOTICE AND AMENDMENT TO TERMS - Tecagora reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy at any time. If you have registered as a member to access the services of the SCN, we shall notify you of any material changes to this Agreement by email sent to the address you have provided during your account registration process. Notification of any changes will also appear in a prominent location on the SCN. If you continue to use the services of the SCN once you have been notified of the changes to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, you will be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted those changes.
